David Reaume opened his doors in 1988 and has since become a well-seasoned and highly sought after leader in the construction and design business. With an impressive roster of clients from over 300 homes in the greater Los Angeles area, David is most noted for his keen eye for design and attention to detail. He is a consummate industry professional who is widely respected for his distinctive style, solid expertise, and refined creativity.
David was born and raised in Pasadena, California and his contruction and design interest peaked during his formative years when his mother Jacqueline, an interior designer, and his father Wallace, a financial planner, purchased and renovated homes as a hobby. David went on to pursue his Bachelor’s of Arts in Business from Gonzaga University.
Over the past ten years, David and his talented team have been the imaginative creatives behind some of the Showcase’ most memorable rooms, including his unique 2002 remodel and design of a simple shed into an adorable 800 sq. ft., Spanish Mediterranean guesthouse. In the years to follow, David and his team’s transformations ranged from turning an ordinary garage into a stunning media room complete with a home gym, wine cellar, powder room and bar to expanding his rich signature kitchen designs into an adjoining family room.
In 2006, he transformed an ordinary master bedroom into a remarkable master suite and in 2007, when Showcase decided to host the famous staging at the Boddy House at Descanso Garden’s, David’s remarkable ability to recapture that old Hollywood character, earned him the enviable position of redesigning the entire home, which is now open for public viewing. In 2008, the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts selected David for the prestigious post of Design Liaison. David worked side by side with featured designers and the Showcase board and acted as a median to ensure that the quality of design complies with the integrity and style of the house.
